Phil McNear's Wantlist

Phil McNear's Wantlist

To contact Phil McNear, send email to spch5@verizon.net

I have attained my goal in completing my run of 1967-1975 Topps Baseball, with the exception of some of the intert sets and the 1967 Topps high numbers and unless I run into unknown riches, I don't see myself going past card #533. I do have a large group of cards to upgrade from the 67-69 run, but that depends on finances and the ability to trade for my wants. I do plan to collect miscellaneous cards from my pre-1975 collecting, mostly commons in fair to very good condition, which OBC will be able to help.

Insert Wanted Lists

1967 Topps Insert Posters- I need #s 1; 3; 5; 6; 7; 9; 10; 11; 12; 13; 15; 19; 20; 21; 23; 24; 25; 29; 30; 31; 32. I'm collecting this in overall g-vg condition, no tears or writing/marks

I have the following to trade for the above:

1967, 1968, and 1969 Topps Baseball singles in vg/ex condition, would prefer to trade these as upgrades for my 67-69 sets

Complete 1969 Topps Baseball Stamp Albums:
Dodgers 10/10
A's 10/10
Cubs 10/10
Cards 10/10
Phillies10/10
Royals 10/10
Pilots 10/10

Other Needs

1969 Topps Deckle upgrades needed: 8 McClain; 9 Horton; 16 Howard; 17 Alou; 20 Helms; 24 Wills; 27 Clemente; 31 McCovey

1970 Topps Insert Sets:
1970 Scratch Offs- I need these upgrades without writing or scratched off: Wynn; Powell; McDowell

1971 Topps Insert Sets:
Coins: (54; 57- purchased off eBay 5/20); 72; 73; 87 (Very good condition is fine, but must have clean images.)

1971 Scratch Offs- I am going to get this as a complete set

1973 Topps Baseball Team Checklists: I have a handful: Astros; Phillies; Mets; Royals; Brewers; Braves; Padres, all are marked but have clean fronts and borders.

For trade:

I don't have much in terms of variety, I have extra Topps Baseball cards from 1970; 1974; and 1975.

I also have lots of Topps Baseball singles for 1970 (85 cards, with a few stars); 1974 Topps Baseball (243 regular with some stars, 23 Traded and 22 Unmarked checklists; and 1975 Topps Baseball (198 singles, including some stars). All of these lots do have stars, but there are no cards of Ryan, Brett, or Yount included. They are mostly in VG/EX to ex-mint condition with centering and light corner wear being their only "defects." Here are some lists of the cards that I have available:

Lists of cards for trade

I prefer to trade the 1970; 1974-1975 Topps Baseball either as lots or as starter sets. However, I will break up the lots for trade to fill my wantlists.
