From Doug Smith: Very early in my OBC career Bob was one of the guys I traded with a lot. He traded me a 1951 Bowman Ted Williams in a trade that was very favorable to me. It may have been the only 1951 Bowman I had. He may have been trying to convert me to being a Red Sox fan. He was a fine man and will be missed. RIP Doug Smith
