From Mike Rich: I still remember meeting "the little dude" wheeling around a National in his wheelchair. He had a wicked sense of humor. Extremely knowledgeable about baseball. I was so happy for him when he was able to get married and find happiness in his life.

From Greg Conway: Wade went with me to every National that I attended. One year he met John Cena while roaming around on his scooter and ended up bird-dogging for him while Cena shopped for jerseys. Cena bought a ton of jerseys and bought Wade an Arod signed bat for his assistance. He met Pete Rose once there and they had a fairly long conversation. The people standing in line behind Wade may not have been amused but Wade and Pete were ok with it. I haven't been to a National since he passed and I'm sure if I finally talk myself into going, he'll be on my mind and in my heart the entire time.
