OBC - Old Baseball Cards

Tribute Page for Chuck Paris

From Mike Rich: I was fortunate enough to go to a ballgame with Chuck, and his brother, as well as spend a nite at Chuck's house going over his collection with him. He was thinking of selling his collection but was reinvigorated after seeing me drool on his cards. He had an incredible prewar and type card collection. Cards I had only seen at the National before. For an accountant he was very laid back. He was very generous in sharing his knowledge and with RAOK. He provided me with a number of wrappers from the 1960s and 1970s. I am glad Mark Talbot and I were able to help Dorothy liquidate Chuck's collection for a fair value.

Please feel free to leave a few words about Chuck Paris for the group.
